M\TEC performs various document reviews for plaintiffs as well as defendants pertaining to potential and active mediations or litigations. Depending upon the need and depth of our involvement, we can either render an affidavit, a letter of opinion or a formal expert report.
Document reviews often include but are not necessarily limited to: architectural drawings, specifications and any applicable addenda for comments about design; as-built drawings and specifications as permitted for construction; comments in the construction record about compliance with design requirements; or contractor and sub-contractor submittals for substitutions that did not comply with specification requirements, design intent and/or what the owner thought was being purchased.
