M\TEC performs architectural design reviews in multiple ways. Working as the exterior building envelope consultant with an architectural design team, we typically become involved with a project from the conceptual design phase forward.
We address building envelope integrity from every aspect and upon request can furnish architectural details, architectural specifications and hygrothermal modeling for condensation potentials within any wall or roof assembly. Our Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance provides a liability cushion to architectural firms within the areas in which we become involved.
M\TEC performs architectural design reviews for general contractors and builders prior to construction. Therein our mission becomes one of finding mistakes which can be corrected in advance with RFI’s and change orders, rather than after the fact with crowbars and jack hammers.
M\TEC also performs architectural design reviews where litigation is involved. In such instances, we review plans and specifications for errors, omissions and/or compliance.
