Construction Services

Quality Assurance Programs

M\TEC offers a variety quality assurance (QA) programs to general contractors, builders and developers that become invaluable to the successful completion of any construction project. They can either address the entire exterior building envelope, or be restricted to roofs, building façade, fenestration, waterproofing, etc. We conduct fully comprehensive QA programs that consist of plan & specification reviews that eliminate any design errors. omissions and inconsistencies, as well as thorough reviews of sub-contractor submittal documents for correctness and compliance.

Our forte' is hosting a general pre-construction conference for all parties involved including the owner or developer, architect, general contractor or builder, all sub-contractor’s project managers and field supervisors, as well as a representative for each product and material involved. At minimum, these conferences typically require at least three to six hours, depending upon the size and complexity of the project. They are designed not only to address the construction sequence and quality which are expected but also to engage and facilitate an inter-action between the various trades, crafts and material manufacturers with regard to what construction sequences, installation techniques and material compatibilities will or will not work in the real world.

We are constantly pleased and impressed by the efficiency of this interactive approach to construction situations as everyone warms up and chimes in, leaving the conceptual theory and hypothetical opinions behind and begins to seriously peel the onion, one layer at a time. Many changes and adjustments typically occur after these meetings.

Beyond that, M\TEC will provide either periodic or full-time inspectors who are thoroughly trained and experienced in the work being evaluated. Electronic reports are then generated for inspection including photographic exhibits, which are disseminated via e-mail to all parties authorized by our client within forty eight hours of each inspection. As each phase of work reaches substantial completion, M\TEC will develop written punch lists on behalf of our client's interests and ultimately perform a final inspection to verify that each item in question has been satisfactorially addressed.

Upon completion of the work, M\TEC will review all essential close out documents such as warranties. guarantees and maintenance manuals. Then after all requirements are satisfied, we will certify the project has been successfully completed in writing to our client.
