Moisture Technology (M\TEC) was selected as the exterior building envelope consultant for the developer of this twenty four story high-rise condominium project overlooking prestigious Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. M\TEC was charged with the responsibility of assuring the integrity of the building exterior, which consisted of Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS) cladding as well as roofing and waterproofing systems and window installations.
Initially, M\TEC conducted a pre-construction conference for the various subcontractors involved, as well as the general contractor and the architect. We attended numerous project meetings and performed weekly quality assurance inspections throughout construction on behalf of the developer, followed up by electronic reports with photographic exhibits transmitted to all authorized parties within forty eight hours of each inspection.
Afterward, we certified that in our opinion the work M\TEC observed was installed according to the construction documents and in compliance with architectural design.
