M\TEC personnel have been reviewing designs, conducting ASTM & AAMA testing and inspecting the installation of curtain wall and sloped glazing assemblies, as well as windows and skylights, for new construction projects for more than two decades. We also inspect and diagnostically test older glazing systems which have been in service for a number of years. Often for older units and assemblies, M\TEC designs solutions to solve water intrusion and/or air infiltration problems.
Then we develop remedial drawings and specifications for competitive bidding. Where curtain wall or sloped glazing, window and skylight repairs or maintenance become necessary due to age and/or catastrophic events, M\TEC typically serves our hotel, condominium and commercial clients as the Designer of Record responsible for assessment, design development, drawings, specifications, bidding and project management. It is important to note that in each instance M\TEC comes fully insured.
